Luxurious limited edition pigment print, signed and numbered out of 20 copies (sold out by the publisher) by Nadia Nakhlé from the universe of her graphic novel The Birds Do Not Turn Around: Amel.
The Birds Do Not Turn Around tells the story of Amel, a 12-year-old girl, who flees her war-torn country. Alone after being separated from the family she was supposed to accompany across the border, she must face the journey. Alongside a deserter, Bacem, she will make her way to Europe and towards her reconstruction. Nakhlé attempts, through this portrait, to make people understand the psychological mechanisms at play in a child's exile.
