Olivier VATINE is a French cartoonist and screenwriter.
It was in 1984 that he and Thierry Cailleteau, met in high school, created IFred and BobI, first published in Pilote, and then at Delcourt, the story of two teenage flirts and gaffers who are their alter ego. Twelve volumes will crown this first series !
Also at Delcourt, he continues with IAquablueI, a humanist and adult story that will meet with great success and recognition. Olivier Vatine then took over the management of the label Serie B at Delcourt.
He follows the various comic book experiments (science fiction, western, etc) with Fred Blanchard or Daniel Pecqueur. He left Série B and Delcourt in 2007 to take part in the Comix Buro adventure with Attakus.
He then joined Glénat where he published IInfinity 8I, an ambitious series where we also meet Lewis Trondheim, Zep and Dominique Bertail.
Adventurer, never resting on his laurels, Vatine likes to take the comic book to new lands!!
