The character of Batman is known for his strength, determination, and wit, as well as his use of high-tech gadgets and futuristic vehicles in his fight against crime. In the series, Batman is the alter ego of Bruce Wayne, a billionaire playboy who has vowed to protect the city of Gotham against criminals and villains. Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's butler and a trusted ally of Batman. He is the only one who knows Batman's secret identity and often takes care of covering his tracks and managing his affairs while he is on mission. Lucius Fox is the science and engineering chief at Wayne Enterprises and is often tasked with developing new gadgets and technologies for Batman. The Batman series is one of the most popular of all time and has experienced phenomenal success since its creation in 1939. It has been adapted numerous times, including in films, television series, and video games, and has inspired many spin-offs and other derivative universes.
