Zhang Bin, said Benjamin was born in China. Initially trained in fashion and design, he quickly abandoned this path (even if the impact is present in his work) and moved on to comics and Manhua (the illustrated novel).
His first album, One Day, released in 2002 met with a certain success and, after a quick stint in advertising, confirmed him on the idea that he was on the right path. He devotes two books to his technique of work: drawing only on a graphic tablet, and then releases a second album Remember, acclaimed both by the public and by the critics. His work was then discovered and recognized in Europe.
The hyperrealism of these works, mixing infographics and a rendering sometimes close to the photo, makes him a unique designer in his style and field.
