Tony SANDOVAL is a Mexican cartoonist and writer.
Graphic designer, it is in a self-taught way that he comes to the comic, more out of desire to tell stories. Moreover, at the beginning of his career, he was both a writer for other cartoonists (Wander Antunes or Grazia La Padula for Les Echos invisibles) and a cartoonist himself.
It is the series Nocturno that really reveals it to the French public (2008-2009) before Doomboy imposed it as well by his particular drawing and the important use of watercolour in his visual work as by the subjects treated and especially adolescence which is often at the heart of his stories, with his journey of the first times.
His latest series Futura Nostalgia and Rendez-vous à Phoenix (autobiographical) are still in progress.
