MIKAËL is a French-Canadian cartoonist and screenwriter.
Self-taught, he began publishing in 2001. He has published a lot, from the beginning, on the side of children’s comics, as well as as as a cartoonist. His series on Félice, published by a West Indian publisher and released in 2013, is notable.
He also took part in collective works, such as the comic strip release of Brassens' songs in 2006, and sometimes he was only a cartoonist, as for Le Roi Pizz-Zâ, five volumes of a series written by Patrick Marleau and published by La Goëlette.
In 2017, he joined Dargaud with the publication of Giant, a diptych dedicated to New York in the years of the Great Depression. In 2020, he continued with Bootblack, again in diptych, then Harlem in 2022.
