Marc MICHETZ, whose real name is Degroide, is a Belgian cartoonist. He first worked at the studio Graton (created by Jean Graton, the author of Michel Vaillant), before publishing in the Journal de Tintin, then in Spirou.
It is there, from 1983, on scenarios of Bosse, he creates the character of Kogaratsu, emblematic samurai wandering (since without master) through Medieval Japan, offering his services of warrior or saving the widow and the orphan, and thus living a thousand adventures.
Michetz, whose precise, strong and very realistic line is perfectly suited to his adventures, but also to the more erotic illustrations he always finds in the land of the Rising Sun.
